إلى متى يا والدي العراق؟
إلى متى شمسك بركان و بدرك محاق؟
إلى متى و شبابنا في ذروة الشباب
شبابنا المتفوقون رغم الفقر و التهجير و الإرهاب
العزم و الإبداع في صدورهم يفور يبحث عن جواب
يستنجدون يا أبي من يفتح الأبواب؟
إلى متى نولد في العذاب؟ نكبر في العذاب؟
آمالنا سراب.. سرورنا كذّاب..لقاؤنا فراق
إلى متى يا والدي العراق؟
إلى متى شمسك بركان و بدرك محاق؟
إلى متى أرواحنا في قبضة المجهول؟
و حقوقنا ضائعة لاسائلٌ عنها ولامسؤول
سهلٌ يسيل دمنا و تصعبُ الحلول

Till when my father Iraq?
Till when is your sun a volcano and your full moon hidden?
How long till our youth at the peak of youth
Our exceptional youth despite the poverty, displacement, and terrorism
Determination and creativity in their chests boiling looking for an answer
Begging, father, who is going to open the gates?
Till when are we born in torment? and grow up in agony?
Our hopes are a mirage... Our happiness is fake... Our meeting is parting
Till when my father Iraq?
Till when is your sun a volcano and your full moon hidden?
How long our lives are in the grip of the unknown?
And our rights are lost, no one asking for them and no one responsible for them
Our blood in the streets is easy and finding solutions are difficult
Who are we in the march?
