Evidently J. Iglesias has two different songs by the title "Paloma Blanca".
Since you have entered this version, maybe you know more about it.
We somehow should find a way to make a difference.
Are really both songs released by exactly the same name?
In both versions we have put the same album, which cannot be possible.

We know that in Spanish, we may have probles interpreting "querer" and "amar" = to love. In this poem, I thinkt it's all "to love".
1. "tú no me quisiste a mí" could be "you didn’t want me" but "y yo te quería tanto" is, definitely, "and I loved you so much".
This first stanza is an introduction, then comes the story.
2. I don't know why Andrzej is using "mojo' in an English text when it is not an English word. "mojo/mojito" is, basically Cuban, and refers to a rum drink with certain herbs. It also can be some sort of a dressing.
The original says "embrujo", and you can translate it as "charm/charming night, enchantment, bewitchment, delight/delightful night".
3. "Whatever you may go" is fine.

Indeed sometimes “querer” creates problems. Here the question is whether he could have been really so fast in love (it’s a question how you define love), that’s why I wonder whether you can say “I loved you so much” and that’s why I wanted to use a different word.

In this particular case I used the dictionary only because I wanted to find a different translation than “want” and “love” - not a synonym.
But that’s not important, because I found a different, and I believe, a better solution - have a look.
As for “mojo” I agree that I overdid. I tried to be, as always, inventive, but I used the wrong word. You’re right, Hans, I meant rather something like “voodoo”. I can’t recall where I found it. Now I checked Wikipedia and “mojo” is something different - an amulet consisting of a flannel bag containing one or more magical items - a “prayer in a bag”. It was pretty close, still different.
I changed it to “enchantment”. And I corrected the last stanza.
Hans, I didn’t get what was the problem with the video. I always submit videos, because I always correct the lyrics basing on it. The video must have been correct. Did the link stop working?
Anyway there was a mistake that I now corrected. “Sin tú saber” was wrong - the accent was not needed. Did I overlook it or you have changed that, Hans?

Okay, so I must have overlooked it.
Hans, your explanations for “mojo” fit exactly what I meant. Still I wonder how many people would be able to understand what I meant. “Enchantment” was a good idea (BTW this is what I wrote in my Polish interpretation), but I decided to use “magic”. It’s closer to that what I meant initially.
I always check the lyrics, that’s why I always submit videos. Only twice I was unable to find the videos nor mp3s, but I had CDs, so I was able to check them.
Few times already I noticed one strange thing: the video that I linked disappeared. When I edited the lyrics there was no link. The thing is that I was the only one who edited these lyrics, so no one could have deleted it. I guess that may happen when soft is changed and that happens every now and then. Some bugs may cause it.

From time to time we report some bugs caused by mistakes in the new soft. Once or twice I had a similar situation: I added the video, but it disappeared completely and I was the only one who edited the lyrics. Not trolls, mermaids. sirens, not even the admins. :p
