Von den Elben will mein Lied berichten,
Von Edelmut und reinem Herz will ich nun erzähl'n.
Auf langer Reise mit der schönsten aller Frauen
Hab' ich deren Zauber die Welt verändern seh'n.

Und warte wie die Vögel auf das erste Morgenlied,

Of the Elves

My song wants to tell of the Elves,
I wish now to recount of nobility and a pure heart.
On a long journey with the fairest of all women
I have seen her/their* magic change the world.

And now I am beginning to understand her/their essence.
And, like the birds, I wait for the first song of the morning,
So that my body may perish full of delight.
 
My heart was consumed by the Elves.
For never can such purity prevail in this world.
I still see her/their bright skin
I still hear her/their evening song
Her/their voice with the soft sound I have loved.

Nice translation. I'd understand "will" as "want to" instead of "shall".

It is definitely "her voice" not "their voice" because otherwise that would say "ihre Stimmen" not "ihre Stimme."

i wouldn't be convinced; you can also speak of their collective voice.

I did not meet any "Elbe" - except for the river.

Since at one part as single Elbe is mentioned you might be right as well, but it's not what I thought first when reading the text.
