Thanks!

There are RTL issues, for example at the profile of users (when changing the language interface to, say, Persian).

Hello, I would like to know if the dark theme supports the menu since in my side, I'm using dark theme but the menu is still in light theme. I think it would be great if they are the same.

Thank You

It's worse than before. Now you have to give more clicks for everything. But who am I to criticize you?

The labels have been fixed, thank you. Please let us know if there are any other issues.

The dark mode is still under development. We hope to have it implemented by next week. We apologize for any temporary inconvenience.

No worries, it looks amazing and will be better after the development.

The previous menu was technically outdated. It was significantly heavier in kilobytes and poorer in SEO parameters.

Perhaps it makes sense to add a "Hot Links" section where users can customize important menu items for themselves? This would make them accessible in just one click.

This sounds very good to me, personally. Or maybe listing the most frequented sections in one's profile, like we have with the language lists?

It would be better to make a top bar buttons (PM/notifications/account) a bit bigger, in my opinion, and add some more features, like an ability to add other buttons for your convenience, for example, the "Requests to translate/transliterate" at the same bar near the PM or Notifications button. I kinda want the Notifications to be a bit more decentralized.

Also, it would be great to fix the Annotations page in your account: when the annotation's description is too long, it doesn't "break" when it reaches the end of the line, but continues further and it's being obscured by the "New Forum Topics" thread in the right part. The same thing is for the gray/white marking of the said annotations, in other parts of the account they stop just at the New Forum Topics thread, but just not in the Annotations.

Anyway, I like the new style. This place looked really outdated.

Hello, I had other things to report, but I have to change priorities. I would like to point out (at the moment) 3 problems:

1️⃣ the first (for mobile phones), very bothersome, is that the function of the menus that can be opened with "horizontal" scrolling (from left to right and vice versa), potentially convenient, is currently more bothersome than convenient, given that when you scroll vertically (or almost) you have to be careful not to do it close to one side of the screen, because unfortunately a movement of the finger in an oblique direction ↘️↖️ or even semi-vertical like these two fingers ✌ (there wasn't a suitable arrow to give you an idea, pardòn) is enough to open these menus immediately, and consequently the scrolling is constantly interrupted
I hope I have explained this problem well, and I want to specify that scrolling near one side of the screen is something that comes naturally to many, especially if you are reading something or are using only one hand and therefore have to use your thumb.

2️⃣ The second one is that the Requests, Feedback and Comments items do not open.

3️⃣ The third one is that the notification and private message icons have become too small. To look at them well you need the Fujinon LB 40x150 👀

⚠️ I would also like to point out that I sent the comment as Preview but it was immediately published, and it's not the first time this has happened. And sometimes the opposite happens to me 🙄

Problem number 4️⃣💀 the most important without a doubt 💯:
with the introduction of this option, at least as far as the right side is concerned, the option to navigate forward was removed ⏭ So if I now go back one page and then want to return here, I can't do it 💀. It's basically like removing the roundabouts from a long provincial road preventing you from returning to the desired point in a short time. Honestly, if I have to give up the ability to navigate forward, I'd rather give up this option. Maybe the loss of the ability to navigate forward was one of those problems that user [@osiris71] was referring to when he said that "Now you have to give more clicks for everything".

Thanks, but are you sure you enlarged the icons? 🧐🔭 The difference between before and now seems comparable to that of an empty glass and a glass with a drop of water 😁 Let's make another effort, please.

First of all, thank you for not switching up every little thing. I hate when websites do that (ahem, Youtube...)
However, I don't see much of a user-friendly benefit to the redesign, beyond the faster loading times and overall fresh appearance. It just takes more mouse-maneuvering to do anything, which I'm not a fan of. Yes, the change is a bit jarring and I have to relearn all my habits, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. IMHO the change is one step forward for looks, one step backward for usability.

T'would be nice to be able to login without so many clicks. It used to be two clicks but now it's three clicks if you're coming in cold. I also wonder about the "entrance point" to that menu. In English, it says "Join Us", a convivial phrase that nonetheless kept me searching and searching for "Log In". For better or worse, website login screens have developed certain standard looks and established phrases and this initial screen digresses.

You may have been facing caching issues.

If I'm not mistaken, the size of the icons for "Messages" and "Notifications" changed at least twice. At first, they may have been a little too small, then they became fit and good, and later they became a little too big. You may have been looking at them at their initial size because of caching issues. Honestly, they look unnecessarily a little too big to me right now. But, it's not a big deal. I can live with that.

By getting rid of "login" and "sign up" button and replace it with "join us", not only it inconveniences regular members,  will it really benefit this website? Does "join us" look / sound attractive enough? Would people want to "join" 'you' (*would some random strangers who just found this website they know nothing about interested to click "join us"? would they feel cautious to "join you" ?) ?

Of course only the real statistics will tell the effect of "login"/"sign up" vs "join us", if there's any at all, but by logic, people nowadays have very short attention span. They are very "busy" and will only spare you a very few seconds of their time. Right now, they might open 10 tabs or more on their computer, each tab with interesting stuff, Youtube, social media, news, etc. If people who want to sign up can't find the login / sign up button right away , will they bother to slowly search for it ... or just simply close (x) this website tab, proceed to watch the other 9 tabs and forget this website for good?

This website has all kind of songs from all languages, even the rarest ones, with high quality translations, and seems to not have any direct competitor with such a complete and organized features. By logic, it should have very high traffic from all around the world, but....... there's only 49 users online right now?? Does that mean most traffic are from unregistered "guest users" ? Even with "sign up / login" buttons right in front of their faces, most people still don't sign up. Wouldn't you discourage them further from signing up by getting rid of the "sign up" button?

I'm referring to how the icons look on the mobile, do you mean the same when you talk about icons that are too big? Because now they've been enlarged again and now they are acceptable but but they are not too big at all

Both of them (mobile and desktop).
But as I said, it's no big deal for me and I can live with icons in any size (it will probably just take a few days to get used to).
Thanks!

I'm sorry but I like the previous one better. In my opinion, it was more user-friendly whereas this menu seems unhandy. It feels like the new menu is made unnecessarily more complicated than it should be. I'd suggest creating a menu that's as simple as possible so that even people who aren't that good with computers and stuff that are related to them can easily find what they need.

I don't know if it's just me but the view count (at the bottom right corner) doesn't appear on my newest translation today. There's also no "view" displayed on my profile page only of that exact translation, even though it got one "like" and one "thanks".

I would like to keep the feature where it immediately directs you to your account page when you click on the profile picture in the top right, and instead make a drop down menu next to the mailbox/notification icons if you want to have more options. That quicklink to immediately get to your account page was very useful and having to use two clicks instead of one (and the danger of misclicking since the dropdown menu has a lot of options that seem a bit overwhelming) makes it a bit bothersome to go where you need to go

I don't know if it has anything to do with the new menu or not but for the last several hours, being properly logged in, I've been unable to see the list of recent translations. I can see translations in the "New Translations" segment in (probably) real time but when I click on the "More Translations" button, each time it gets stuck at Imany's "Don't Be So Shy", whose last translation was published around half past nine this morning. Changing browsers doesn't help, restarting computer either.

It doesn't look like it was already mentioned here yet. My problem is I'm no longer able to read the information from the Artists page like for this artist https://lyricstranslate.com/en/jimmie-allen-lyrics.html I wanted to read their Wiki page (if they even had one) but it's just.... blank. I tapped on the more info and it's blank. I'm using a mobile device that's on dark mode. I'm having this problem with other artists here on LT too. I don't know if anyone else has been having that same problem or with a similar problem.

The website was recently migrated to new servers, and during this transition, there were periods when the site experienced issues. Now that the migration is complete, all major features should be functioning properly.

Happens on mobile here, but not on desktop.

Just one thing that came to my mind. Could our notifications be shown in a new drop down menu instead of a whole new page? For PMs, I think the separate page should be kept.

Thank you so much for improving the initial "Sign in" screen after the recent big update complicated it. The newest re-adjustment streamlines the initial process. For regular users, it's much easier, even the more so than before the update. For newbies, it'll be easier to find out where to go. I really appreciate that you hear us and keep improving LT.

I've been trying to give it a chance, but I must admit... I really don't like the new menus, but saying that doesn't really help, does it? So I'll give three reasons to explain why I don't like it.

1) Cluttered
This mainly pertains to the left menu. All of these, we used to have in the horizontal menu, which then opened up int vertical pop-up menus. Now, they're all in a vertical menu, and when you choose one, more options are added to the vertical menu. This makes it harder to get an overview of my options, making it feel more cluttered.

2) Clicking fatigue
If there's one thing I've learned from being a dev myself, it's that the user really doesn't like it when they have to click more times than necessary. Before, it took 1 click to go to a specific page in the menu, with submenus automatically opening up as you hover over them. Now, you might have to click up to 4 times (or more, if you were looking in the wrong place.) Each click is a conscious decision, and the more you have to actively click, the more annoyed the user becomes (especially when they have to search through submenus.) Mentally, the user doesn't feel the same "fatigue" if these just pop up when hovering over a menu point.

3) Slower
Navigating the menus is slower, not just due to a mix of the previous two reasons, but also because of the added animations, each adding a little bit of time before the user can register the options available.

The new design for the menus feels like something that would work quite well for a touch device, like a smartphone or a tablet, but I don't think desktop / laptop users benefit from it.

Thank you for your feedback. We have fixed some minor issues, but it seems that a return to the previous menu style on desktops needs to be made. For now, the following fixes have been implemented:

- the ability to access your profile with one click
- dark mode
- 'Sign In' button instead of 'Join us'
