I wonder if a channel - here: utube - can be considered as an 'Official site', the more so as there is no information on 'Karl Sternau' (who may or may not be a human being).

Not common, but if there's no better alternative, then it's fine.

The guy does exist, after all he is livestreaming on his Youtube channel.

Whether that's his real name, though? How should we know? For all we know it is his real name but could equally be just a fictious name not unequal other artists' fictional names.

Of course - provided that we're talking about an actually existing artist (or a person that has actually existed and written and/or performed songs). This, however, may not be true of 'Karl Sternau' - to quote from a 'talk' page on Wikipedia /https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Prussia%27s_Glory): 'Nobody ever heard of this guy' - , while a fictional character apparently invented by the author Karl May can be found.

I do not doubt that there is a person going under this name. However, a social media channel is not per se an 'Official site' as long as it is not endorsed by a real person (whose identity is known).
